Her journey

Kirsten knows from personal experience what it's like to juggle vocational school and work.
Degree in Language, Business and Cultural Studies
With a focus on Spanish and English – and the sheer volume of material that comes with a university degree.
Living and working abroad
The USA, Spain, the UK, France, Chile and Austria: this is where she learned to adapt flexibly to different people and cultures.
More than 20 years in learning & development

Workshops such as BrainFit and her own Azubiheld (Apprentice Hero) training, as well as keynotes and learning coaching. In 2024, she published two books (in German): “Lerndoof – Fit fürs Braining” and “(Kein) Bock auf Schule”. And because good work around the brain and learning deserves recognition, in 2022 she launched the Brain Excellence Award. Together with Bernd Reimann, Kirsten also runs Learn for Future – all about learning, for teachers, educators, learning coaches and parents.
Why Kirsten does what she does
The knowledge she wishes she'd had
As a former apprentice, student and later manager, Kirsten knows the challenges first-hand: constantly switching between vocational school and work, the sheer volume of material at university and the different needs within a team.
“If I had known back then what I know today about learning and memory techniques, both my apprenticeship and my degree would have been much easier – and what I learned would have stayed with me far longer.”Kirsten Wunderle
